‘America’s Got Talent’ finalist launches comedian competition in San Luis Obispo

A finalist on NBC’s hit show America’s Got Talent will be in San Luis Obispo Friday night to kick-off a competition to find her opening act for her performance next month at the Fremont Theater.

Comedian Vicki Barbolak was a fan favorite during her season of the popular talent show.

She will be at Bang The Drum brewery to launch a two-part competition to find her opening act for her show on July 13. According to a press release, Barbolak is attending tonight’s event to support the local San Luis Obispo comedy scene.

Since appearing on the show, Barbolak has booked an international tour and has taken her comedy routine across the country.
